I have an interesting problem here. I can view my forum with event calendar just fine on my development laptop... but when i try to view it from any other machine i get the following error:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80040E10) No Value Given for one or more required parameters. /newbuild/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 1269.
some background.... i have cleared the history and temp files of my browser on my laptop and it works great with the exception that it automatically logs me in as Admin... even if I logout, once it goes back to the forums... i'm log in as admin again. i can't even bring the forums up from any other computer. Help Please!!!!!

Did you create the database connection on your laptop to a locally stored database that you uploaded to the webserver later? It sound's like your connection string is configured that way and that is the reason why it's not working on any other computer.
How does your connection string look like?

i haven't uploaded it to it's finaly resting place yet. it was working flawlessly until i tried to change the authentication type to NT... and it did not work the way i needed it to. i tried changing it back, only to fail miserably. i ended up completely deleting the database and the forum folder i setup. then starting from scratch all over again. after rebuilding the forums, i went to test it from various locations only to see the message i quoted earlier. any ideas?

When you say you havenät uploaded it to it's final ,ocation, does that mean that you only have the files on your laptop? Are you running a personal webserver on you laptop?
The various locations you have tried to get to the forum from, where are they? Other computers on a network, or other computers connected to the internet?

could you mail me your inc_functions.asp,inc_top and default.asp files, I will take a look, it may be an incorrect user variable that is causing the error with NT.
Could you mention this topic in your email please
