Can anyone tell me where I can get a free .com addres, with no sub directories? It's also okay when it is something else like www.yourname.net or whatever. Does not matter if there are ads! I am looking for this for quite a long time since namedemo and namezero stopped with their free services- please mail me at ajaxside@yahoo.com Thanks a lot!
namezero is still offering free domains, it just takes a little longer to register.
But if you ever plan on using your domain somewhere else, I would advise against any free service. Domains can be had really cheap, why not just pay for it and be happier in the long run? I am having a hell of a time transferring registrars for a domain I foolishly registered through namezero.com.
