How can i change it so that when someone types a web address in the message it doesnt automatically change to an active link

The easiest way is to just not include the www part. Example: insidewaco.com

I think the www is picked up as the start of a link, therefore making it active.

I can write forum.snitz.com without a problem

Most servers will recognize a link without the www part, but I'm not sure if all of them do.
