I made a change to a private forum (I edited the title to include "private") and then I got complaints that members could not see the forum. I checked the member list, and it was blank. I tested it again, and it happened with a second forum. Seems that any change to the forum title or description clears the member list.
Was this designed this way? Or is it a bug? Bug or Feature? (version 3.1sr4)
Thanks. I did a search, and didn't find that. I don't really understand what the fix was (it was kind of a confusing discussion), except that I think you removed the top row of buttons when private forums were enabled. The reference to another bug is what lost me.
Unless there is a somewhat easy to do that, I'll just remember to edit my member lists whenever I edit a forum, and wait for the next major release of the forums.
