Search here for 'updateable query'.

The IUSR_computername account needs r/w permissions to the database file & it's folder.

I had read all this error and i'm having the same problem tu. I'd read all the solution to get rid of this problem. But I don't know how to do it. One thing i don't know to do it and i don't understand it : The IUSR_computername account needs r/w permissions to the database. What is it? And how to do it. For forum's member information, i use the free hosting service, brinkster hosting. So can anyone help me with this problem... Okay. Thankz..

If you use Brinkster, you'll have to place the database in the db directory.
That then automatically has the correct settings.

Hi, there is definately a problem running Snitz on Brinkster. I am getting this problem all the time with two of my standard Snitz forums. I've noticed it for at least three other user's sites at the same time. I've only found one heavily customised Snitz forums running ok on Brinkster. Perhaps its something in the code? More likely Brinkster has problems or people using their free services don't get a full level of service from their server?
