OK. I have the forums installed.

And have ran setup.asp

Everything seems fine.

Users can register. And stuff looks pretty.

But I can not add new topics or reply to existing topics. Clicking on anything that calls POST.asp

I get :-

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03f6'

Expected 'End'

AND THATS ALL!

I think something is up with my server. But how can I tell what?

Have you tried re-uploading post.asp ? It may have gotten corrupted when you uploaded it. Try uploading a fresh copy from the .zip file you downloaded from here.

Do you have a URL where we can look at this at?

Yes. I have reuploaded post.asp and all the other files except config.asp

I'm running SQL server 7 - and the url is

www.secretpath/forums/forum.asp

I'm sure its something wrong with my hosting. I just haven't got a clue what!

Hum. have now discovered that I have ASP version 1. Which is strange and annoying.

I guess there is no hop[e for me. :(
