I'm currently undertaking converting my entire site to Store Procedures so that the strain on my server is less. Then I started to think where all my traffic goes to and it's my forum. I average 6000-11000 unique hits a day btw, and over 90% end up on the forum. As the forum grows, even under SQL it tends to slow down alittle, especially after about 25000 posts. So I was thinking of doing a conversion of the forum to Stored Procedures, is anyone interested in this? If so, I do the complete mod setup thing and post it when I'm done for everyone.
