The FrontPage server extensions alter quite a bit of the current Snitz code. Changes are triggered by editing with the FrontPage or InterDev editor, or releasing the working copies in InterDev.

I did an experiment a couple revs back, I put a totally fresh copy of Snitz in place by drag n drop into an open InterDev folder from the folder where I unzipped in Windows.

I got working copies for all files, released working copies for all files, and then did a FC comparing the two folders. The resultant output was some 300kb of changes, most were added quotes around attributes but some of the changes caused problems.

I have had no problems using Notepad from withing Frontpage, as long as I don't rename or move any files.

InterDev and FrontPage are nice tools, but you've gotta play by their rules :)

I moved this here since it's not a bug with the forum, but an annoyance with the software you are using to edit files and such.
