I am having trouble changing the lock state as I require. I want to lock a category but have the enclosed forums unlocked. When I set the category it is setting the forums to the same state and if I individually set (all) the Forums lock state it seems to overide the category lock state.
I do have one or two categories that appear to be set correctly as I want, but my general and main members section don't want to play ball.
That does not make sense. that would be like locking your front door and trying to get into your unlocked bedroom
if you lock a category, it should by definition lock all the forums contained in it, otherwise what would have been the point in locking it at category level
