I was looking for a forum for my site for a very log time. Now I finally found it- thisforum. I downloaded the latest files, and I wanted to start. I am working with windwos 98, and upload my files to a dutch server called wanadoo (my site is home.wanadoo.nl/ajaxside)
My first question is-
-Where can i find a place (like geocities/homestead) that offers webspace and that supports cgi/bin, because my server does not support this service.
-My second question is how I actually uploed the files. I read the readme, but it doesn't say to much to me, because I am new to making sites. I don't know hw to work with mysql. Can I do it in another way?? Or can you please tell me how to do it so I can understand it. i know this might take some time, but then you make me realy realy happy!!
-So canb you tell me what programs I will need??

Hope I can get further after this..

If the hosting site you chose supports ASP, you're in business. I used the included Access database and the installation was very simple. SQL I can't hep you with but Access is working fine for us. Go to this link if you'd like help with the access setup:

We have wanadoo in Denmark too, and they don´t support ASP - you have to check this first !!!!
