ok, theres an error with my forum, when ppl sign up, they go through the info adding bit, and then it says that theres an error, blah blah blah, but infact they have registered...anyone know what it is my forum is here : http://36-degrees.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/default.asp

cheers, i did it yesterday, im doing the graphics atthe minute..i got one of the new users to copy the error code for me, the error is:
Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/cgi-bin/forum/inc_mail.asp, line 155

i tired the MS link, but it said that there wasnt a tihngy specifically for it...

That error means that the forum is trying to send an email message to the user that just registered with thier username and password, but the email component you chose is not installed on your server. So the connection to the email component failed.

Try using the Check Email Component script from http://forum.snitz.com/archive/default.asp?catid=11&cattitle=Forum+Setup+Tools
It will tell you what email components you have installed on your server.
