it sounds like the includes may be in the wrong place, does it give a filename with the line number

I'm afraid not. That's why I am having trouble finding the problem. Odd huh?

Any ideas?

this is what is causing the error

onload=init(),show3()

so it could be the show3() and not the init()

your using an enhanced version of huwr
the error is not on the menu

there is a clock mod in that enhanced version
take that out and it should be fine
for more info on this.
www.eastpasco.com

you will get the same error on that page as well
and it has to do with the "digital" clock

I've removed that clock because of the troubles it was giving me... It was nice.. LOL until It drove me crazy...

If you still find it in there let me know and I'll check over the code again and see if I forgot something.

The reason you got this error is because to make the slide menu and clock to work they had to work together.. if you turn off the slide menu then the clock would stop working.. Only way I could get the "onload" comand to work with both because they both needed it.

could you not combine init() and show3() into a single function maybe

One last question then: how do I remove the clock if that is causing the problem?

Thanks again

I am also getting this error, and don't know where to start to remove this clock mod. I searched the code of popout-menu.asp looking for syntax error or for where the object in question is being called from, but have'nt been successful. Any help from the mod originator or someone who has successfully removed this error - is greatly appreciated.

the clock is nothing to do with the popout menu, try looking in your inctop for the clock stuff, I have no idea other than that
