I have one of the poll mods on my forum, not sure which one, but is there any way to automatically show the results if the person has already voted before? I'm sure this has already been addressed somewhere, but I couldn't located the forum topic. Any help would be great. It seems like all the feature are there and I'd just use a cookie to check if the person has voted...don't know.
Thanks, Eric

Works fine !!!
I´ve noticed the same though. When testing the poll script locally the cookies don´t seem to work, but online the script works just fine.

Eric, I'm working on that.
Well, i was working on it. Finished it. Here's the default.asp file: This file is for Eric only. Please don't download this unless I tell you to. Thanks. http://www.dsilvera.com/forum/mods/default.zip Just replace the Poll Mod code in your file with the Poll Mod code in the file i'm giving you. I have added two images vote.gif and voteresults.gif to the zip, if you want to use them.
Let me know if it's what you want.

David, that works great. I just need to tweak it a little (spacing wise). Thanks a bunch.

Glad you liked it. What kind of spacing you're talking about? I just was playing around with it and didn't really know what looked better.

Oh, just that my page is split into 3 columns. 15%,65%, and 20% The right column is the one I placed the poll into. I just needed to make the font size smaller and add a few <br> tags in there. I liked the way you had it setup, too, but it just pushed my column out a tad. I was actually thinking about placing the poll in the center column. I might still do that.
Right now I'm trying to decide on what colors I should use in my site. I'm more of a programmer than a color coordinator. Perhaps I should let my brother's gf handle the color coordination. I don't think she'd charge too much

Aaah ok. Was just wondering. I had an idea to put a <br> after each poll option, but it leave a lot of space on the right. If I made the table smaller, it would be better if it was fit into something like your right hand column. Too small for the top center section. And if i centered it(the poll options), it would look horrible.
So I guess I'll just stick to the current format.
Yeah, i have trouble choosing color combinations sometimes. What a task. Just need a woman's touch eh?
