Hey,

I want to know if there is a way through ASP to dump a Access Database into a text file that can then be used to make a MS SQL database. If there is could someone please help.

You have a number of options

Use DTS as PJamieson mentioned. This is available from SQL7 up.

Use the Access upsize wizard. A2K version is much more stable than A97. Works pretty well.

Export the data for your tables, create tables in SQL Server & use Bulk Insert or bcp to load the data. More work.
