This problem is most likely a DNS issue. Try it from outside your local network/intranet. I had this issue as well, but it only happened inside my local network. From outside it worked fine. I modified my DNS server to point the newly aquired URL to that machine (forum/web host) and it fixed everything. Hope that helps your problem.
