I apologize for posing a question that is probably fairly obvious, but I simply am uncertain. "Remove the ' in front of the "strDBType" variable with the database type you want to use." What would I put in place of the " ' " ? I am using the .mdb file provided together with the zip file.
Thank you in advance, Pete

just remove the ' and nothing goes in place of it. i.e for access:
'strDBType = "sqlserver" '## access, sqlserver or mysql strDBType = "access" '## access, sqlserver or mysql 'strDBType = "mysql" '## access, sqlserver or mysql

Thank you very much. I apologize, but one last question. Once I have completed the installation, how do I find it on the web, don't I have to integrate it into an html file somehow?
Thanks

yes, I have. But now I don't know what url I would type in order to open it. The reason I ask, is because the zip file had not html files included. Again, forgive my lack of knowledge.
Appreciatively, Pete

you can not see any html files because all the forum files are all .asp files. Just go the the location you uploaded your forum to. i.e.: www.yourdomain.com/form (if you put the forum in dir called forum)

I checked the url you suggested, and I just get a listing of files in the directory, instead of an actual forum. I'm almost there; I just need to get it going. I sincerely appreciate all your assistance.
