Something weird is afoot.

When I try to Reply to a topic, not Quote/Reply, and the topic is on a 2nd+ page deep, i get this:

-------------
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e57'

The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data.

/bhforum/inc_top.asp, line 307
----------

My line 307 is:
if strUseExtendedProfile then %>

I am using Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.1 SR4 on NT4, Access 2000 DB.

Any ideas?

inc_top.asp in an unmodifed v3.1 SR4 version doesn't have a line #307. (it ends at line #306)

Do you have any modifications installed? Are you looking at the actual inc_top.asp file or at a view source of your default page.

If you have the active users mod installed that will be your culprit.

I had posted a solution for this in the Mod w/code forum, but I can't seem to find it.

Yes, I do have that installed, on 2 different boards but the problem only happens on one and not the other.

Here's the mods I have running:
1. Private Messages
2. Active Users

I appreciate the help. Any idea off the top of your head what causes this?
