i have setup the database about a dozen times i can alter all the config files ok and create multiple forums with categories but as soon as i have entered the firstpost i get this error displayed
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Could not use '(unknown)'; file already in use.

/inc_top.asp, line 6

i have removed the licence info at the top of the page for ease of counting purposes any help would be appreciated

could you email me your inc_top and inc_functions I will fix them.

The problem is the code is opening more than one connection to the db, which your server does not allow

could you post the code here as the company i work for has recently introduced some draconian email measures and i am unable to send either file even in text format

Problem solved Permissions issue with directory hierarchy
