Oh.. Ok... Yea.. I've asked about that before and nobody could help
me find where to change that at

You might want to ask Alan... Or Richard has helped me once before with this.
If you find out let me know...

What is the colorstripe.gif information that you are talking about?

Also, when you mention that you were using the old version, what version were you running?

Finally, could you send me the same files that rick7165 sent you? My email address is dean@vdubn.com

Thanks,
Dean

Since I'm using the old version do I need to run the mod_dbsetup thing? Also I would appreciate copies of the files that include the colorstripe.gif information... my email is kissfreak@kiss-forever.net or get me on MSN MEssenger as Therion93@passport.com

Thanks!

The colorstripe.gif Gives the Title bars a 3d look.
Look at my test site. The Colorstripe was done by Richard Kinser

As for the "Old Version" he was talking about the Calendar.

trakfast,

the colorstripe image that I use is red, if Im not mistaken, rick's is blue. You will need to make sure that the image fits in with our board's color scheme. Take a peek at both rick's and my boards, if you want the image from me (red) I'll be happy to send you a copy, I'm sure rick wil do the same

I like your site Therion! I don't think i can use your stripe though. My boards color theme is green. Could you tell me how to go about making one? dimensions? ... and where to put it in code? Only if you have time though. Thanks

Hi,

Can someone tell me exactly what I need to change to make the background color of the cells in the monthly calendar black? I would also like to change the background of the event details cell to black with white text. Could someone please point out the exact changes?

Thanks!

Yes this is the lastest version.

Here is the details.

in the events_functions.asp file:

Line 837:
<td height="30" bgcolor="black" <%If mlev >= intAllowed or lcase(strDBNTUSerName) = lcase(rs(strDBNTSQLNAME)) Then Response.Write "colspan=2"%>>

I have decided to change my cell colors and that line worked great! Thanks. Now i have a quick question. When i click "View by Week" The cells go to the white bg color again (which i don't want). I was wondering if anyone knew where the code for setting bgcolor for week is? Thanks for your time.

Thanks! If you copy the image in ricks message above and then simply change the color it will work fine for you. As for where to put the code, you have to locate the html for the table cell you want to use the colorstripe.gif in and simply insert background="colorstripe.gif" in the cell definition. Here is an example from default.asp :

<td bgcolor="<% =strTableBorderColor %>">
<table border=0 width="100%" cellspacing=1 cellpadding=4>
<!--#INCLUDE FILE="inc_fader.asp" -->
<!--#include file="events_inc.asp"-->
<tr>
<td align=center background="colorstripe.gif" bgcolor="<% =strHeadCellColor %>" nowrap valign="top">

Keep in mind that if you are not using HuwR's version of the forums, your default.asp code may look slightly different.

Hope this helps. Let me know!

I've made my Test site code so you can download it... I have the colorstripe already configured within it on all the pages... plus it has most of all the mods installed. You can just remove what you want and change the colors.

Therion93.. Did you get the colors fixed in the calendar? HuwR gave a hint but I sure can't find it

Does any body or has anybody referenced where to change code/colors for different sections of the calander. I saw the last mod for the calader background but, now the calander is all black and you cant see the #'s. I'd like to be able to change the color of several different things but, cant seem to figure out where to tweak what? Any hints. A color change or config page for the calendar would be a great sugguestion for the next rev of this mod = )
