Is it possible to simulate a post action? I know it's easy to simulate a get action (url?etc..) but what about post?

I'm not sure in ASP, but with javascript you can use 
formName.submit();
that does the same thing...I use it a lot in my code when I want to validate before actually posting the form.

doing a formname.submit() isn't simulating the post, it is actually performing it.
