Hi there!

First off, I just want to say "WOW". I have been surfing the Internet for many years, and this is truly the first time that I came across a community to committed to helping each other. You guys are an inspiration for every-one else on the net!

Now. I really need some help. We are in the process of developing virtual clubs for country x (I don't want to let the cat out of the bag as yet), and, after seeing and experiencing with Snitz forums, decided to implement it as the back-bone for our clubs, together with the necessary mods.

As we are expecting to host a minimum of at least 300 forums on our domain, which would be managed by our members, we are sitting with a bit of a problem, and would really appreciate some advice. Do we setup each forum with it's own, uniquely named database, such as "autozone" with a database named "autozone", located in our domain root, in addition to 300+ other databases, or is there a better solution? Can I develop one forum, make copies of it, as well as the database, and just name each copy differently for each club? I know how to change the strings in the config.asp file to point to each database location.

I tried some tests, by developing one forum, including mods, and just copying it, naming each copy differently, with necessary changes in config.asp file, and it seemed to work well. Just wanna know if that is the correct procedure and if there is anything else that I should do.

I will be using ms access databases for the beginning stage.

I will really appreciate any advice that anyone could give me!

Once again. Thanx to everyone participating in these forums!

Ahh. I just found out that ms access databases could be replicated. Maybe it's a better option than actually copying it, and then still renaming it.
