This is a stretch... but I had to ask the question anyhow (just in case).
Has anyone ever heard of an instance where the forum actually brought the server down.
I've been having server problems since a day before I installed Snitz - so I think this is unrelated - but every time I post a subject to the forum, I notice that the ping requests start to time out. It could be coincidence - since I'm posting so much info, and the server is constantly going down...
You post a lot ? I mean have a lot of users and posts a day ? Using Access could slow down the server in that case, or using old ADO drivers, and probably a couple of other configuration settings on the server (which I don't know for sure...but am sure others do).
If your forums are very active, that could lower performance, and perhaps a lack of bandwidth could be causing the ping problems... Just an idea, I may be way off there.
