Okay, before I go nuts. I update my IE to 5.5, and now I can't login to ANY Snitz forum when the Save Password checkbox is checked.

If I uncheck it and login, it works fine, but it doesn't save it so I have to manually enter it each time.

how do I fix this? I tried nuking the cookies, no help. I tried setting my security to lowest, no help. I double-checked to make sure cookies are on.

Any suggestions?

cheers,

- SP

SP,

Don't know were to start looking for help on this one.
I installed IE 5.5. Dutch version and have no problem with the cookies here....but I know there have been more reports of people with IE 5.5 having cookie problems...

Well I just reinstalled Win2000pro (dual boot w/win98).

It works fine in Win2000pro, but I have no idea how to fix it for Win98.

Oh well, lame ass OS anyways. ;)

I've used IE 5.5 on Windows98SE, WindowsME, Windows95 & Windows2000 and have no problems at all with the cookies. I've made no changes to the security or cookies settings at all. They are all still the defaults that were set when it was installed.

hmmm, I'm thinking that it might be a server setting problem and not just IE. Since it's not consistent with all IE5.5 users. Some users did a re-start of thier server and it fixed the problem. *shrugs*
