Not that I don't want to help you...I searched the MadHost site to see if I could locate the info (found nothing)...but this is something you probably need to ask them. (unles of course you are lucky and someone here uses Madhost...)
I would think you would know if you were using MySql or SQL database when you signed up as they would have given you a password and username for it.
But why not use the Access database that came with the forum? All you need is an NT server with the latest odbc files, the access database from the snitz zip file and you're all go to setup your forum.
Unless this is a really hard question and that I'm missing the whole point of what spastichero asked.
