My problem: Say Jim browses the forums an hour before I do, when I first load the page it says that myself AND Jim are there. If I hit refresh he disappears, but it's kind of annoying to have it list the wrong list the first time I load the page. Does anyone know what would be wrong here or how I could remedy this? Thanks in advance.
what you are seeing is the normal behavior. Since no one has been on your forum between the time Jim was and you are, the code that checks to see who is online hasn't run so Jim is still in the database as being online. Refresh the page and Jim will be gone.
