Boy, I feel like such a dolt. I had some kind soul help me with the installation - I logged in as the admin with the admin password. Everything was fine. I then changed my password. Now when I log in, the forum does not recognize me as an admin - I have closed my browser and restarted the computer. I have cleaned out my cookies...can someone please help?? I can't see the link for the admin feature and I can't add any forum categories. Nothing is showing up.

try going to admin_home.asp and logging in with your admin password, does it ket you in to admin options ?

Yes, the login works through admin_home.asp

However, if I go to the forums, I don't see myself logged in as the admin and don't see any of the icons for adding/deleting forum categories.
