I have installed the file attachment mod and it seems to work. In the Forum variable table I see a /forum/intAllowUploads variable, but it is not set. If I run the File Attachment Configuration and set allow to on, I get:

But in the variable table the allowupload variable is still not set. How is that possible?

could you send me your config.asp and admin_fileattachment.asp I will take a quick look.
