Hi
I have recently installed Snitz forums at my site, during a period when it was getting a new domain name.
It was at a temporary domain of http://test.tranzmithosting.com and when installed, it worked perfectly. However, the proper URL for the site is www.tranzmit.co.uk. Both these URLs point to exactly the same place.
The problem is that if you go to www.tranzmit.co.uk and try to login or register on the forums you get the following error....
Response object error 'ASP 0156 : 80004005'
Header Error
/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 1322
The HTTP headers are already written to the client browser. Any HTTP header modifications must be made before writing page content.
As I said, if you use the same forums at http://test.tranzmithosting.com it works perfectly.
Please, can anyone offer any advice here? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure what's wrong!
Many thanks in advance

You have a problem with your includes, if you do a view source on your page you will see what I mean, you have several <head> tags

Thanks Huwr I still don't get it though...why would the same pages work on one URL and not the other? I still don't really have a clue what to do to get this working at the moment, but I'll keep on at it. Thanks again.

Basically what is going on is, you have inserted the forum inside your pages, I gues you edited inc_top or removed it from the forum pages, as this is where <head> is defined for the forums. what is happening, is you are trying to include a file which still has it's own <head> definition. just do a seacrh in your asp files for any that contain a <head> tag, you should then be able to find the culprit.
Without knowing how you are doing your layout, that is my best gues

I appreciate your help Huwr. I'm not getting anywhere though unfortunately . I just can't understand why it would just stop working.
Anyway, I tried removing all <head> tags from all pages involved and still I got the same error.
It took so long to get these forums working perfectly, and now I just can't see what to do to get them fixed again. So frustrating!

I have had to give up on this...it is so frustrating that it worked, and now it won't! Basically, if anyone's interested the problem can be seen at www.tranzmit.co.uk/forum/default2.asp by registering...you then get the error message. You also get the same error message once you've registered and try to logon.
I admit defeat on this, but if anyone thinks they can solve it I am happy to repay the favour somehow... I am in a position to offer webspace or something like that. If that interests you please send me a mail at ben@tranzmit.co.uk.
Many thanks
