Not only are the page listings not appearing, but everything on the bottom of the page is slightly messed. Can anyone help? Do I have to manually go in and change the code? It's at http://www.webcontrolcenter.com/forum.

Thanks,
-Micah

PLUS... the Members page displays the Pages properly, but the numbers are just static text, no links. Anyone... anyone.

hi micah,

Both your problems are very strange. I see them both when i goto your site. Did you edit the files inc_footer.asp or members.asp by any chance?

also something to do is to try to replace these files with the one from the snitz forum zip.

Hey, you doing this for crystalTech? I'm a happy customer of theirs . The webcontrolcenter is a great tool.

No, I haven't changed anything, but I'll replace those files.

Glad to hear you're enjoying our service. I helped build about half of the tools in the Control Center and we're all pretty proud of it. My next challenge is figuing out the forum.

Thanks!

Replacing those files didn't seem to do the trick. Any other ideas? Should I try testing out the alpha and see if that works? I have no idea what could be causing this (obviously).

Here's another problem...
We've experienced some of the Login problem that I've seen mentioned in these forums, BUT there's also a LOGOUT problem. I'm experiencing this as well. It says I've logged out, but when I'm back to the forum page, I'm still logged it.

viewing your source for the display of the footer part, I noticed this bgproperties="fixed". I believe this is not part of the forum. REmove that and see what happens.

Similar prob in your members page. there's this part bgproperties="fixed which is missing a end quote after it. That's why there's no link on your pages.

Yeah, I had to get rid of that AND the background. I'm not happy about it but it works. Thanks again!

glad you got it to work.

I read the discussion on using forum or listserv on your forum and thought that it's interesting. Forum is the way to go, in with the new and out with the old. Listserv can be spammy in certain whereas for forum you can pick and choose what you read.

Also keep up the great work with CrystalTech's webcontrol center. it's one of the main reason i like crystaltech hosting so much. Customer support is 2nd main reason. Pricing is also great. I acutally found out about crystaltech from ppl on this forum.

I registered on crystaltech forum and logged out just fine? didn't have this problem at all. Usually logout probs have to do with cookies.

Micah, I also just registered, was logged in, posted a couple messages, closed window, opened window, logged out, closed window, opened window, logged in, no problems.

<SHAMLESS_PLUG>
(what I posted was where is the CT customer only forums, btw). Crystaltech is the best. How could I be so lucky as to find a local ISP (yeah, I still have modem only) that hasn't given me a busy signal in over a year, AND a web host that is the best MS host out there!
