Okay i have no clue what is wrong but no one can update there profile in my forum... It appears to work but it doesn't, no errors appear it just doesn't update the profile.
Can one of you gurus take a peek in my pop_profile.asp please cause I have no clue as to why it says it updated successfully but it didn't.
I thought it was the hide email and thought i had it working... I can edit anyones profile as admin but no one can edit there own profile, including myself under the admin name. It's sounds odd but to put it easier no profile can be updated by the user it has to be remotely done by an admin and i have no clue why this is happening.

I'm thinking theres errors in more then the pop_profile cause I just realized theres more then one file that edits the profiles. Man I hate being a newbie. lol
Sigh...I tried removing all things with the hide email and that didn't help. I removed the hide email from all files it was suppose to be in and even removed the call to the database str blah blah Members.hide.emal thing. I'm lost i have no idea why the profile update only works if an admin modifies someone elses
Now i'm so angered i'm 2 steps from putting my fist through my monnitor cause all i can see doing is reinstalling the entire forum and i had such a hard time installing a lot of mods.

Did this error go away when you added the missing fields ? Did you make sure you set the default values (if needed) ? If it didn't go away, could you put this code in line 141:
Response.write strSql Response.end
so you can see the contents of the sql statement that is causing the error ?
yeah i fixed the deletion of my fields but my main problem where the profiles cannot be updated just isn't working.
It's odd, it shows no error and even says it has been updated but it hasn't. The only way i can update any profiles is as admin, users and myself cannot update profiles directly they have to be done remotely or through the modify area. I think theres either something conflicting with the case editit area. Thats all I can think of.
yes it happened when i installed the timezones mod... If you installed that mod then that is why you are having those problems. I just now figured it out but do not know how to correct it.
