I know there are some obvious ones, but if you had a list of guidelines for what makes it in and what doesn't, I wouldn't mind volunteering for this. It would be easier than managing mods (and probably more entertaining).

obviously first and formost, the site would need to satisfy the licencs greement and keep all links, copyright notices.
then, it should not contain anything illegal or morally objectionable.
Mike may have more to input, but they should be a minimum I gues

A Snitz Web ring ? Will never work cause'it's not Snitz intent to have any control on Snitz's forum's content. Having said that, It would'nt be a bad idea for Snitz to have some control on the "quality" of a Snitz's implementation. A "Golden Snitz Award" with a nice "medal" (logo) could be implemented, given to any Snitz forum that "upholds" Snitz'criteria: -All links functionals -X mod implemented successfuly -Having created a "New Mod" downloaded x times and functioning. -Whatever...
Then a list of "golden Awarded Snitz Forum" could make some senses.
Just my 2 cents!

Maybe I'm confused, but I don't think that's the intent of this webring at all.
It's another way to get Snitz out there. By listing Snitz in the webring area of Yahoo, it's another way to reach people. Some people search for things in webrings. Any chance at an added bit of exposure can't hurt.
It's also an alternative to the clients using Snitz type listing. It's a way for forum owners to see what other forum owners are doing.
Plus personally, I've gotten a little bit of traffic to my site off of it.
Last of all it's just a fun thing to have. There's already 16 sites on the ring, so some people must find it an alright thing to have on their site.

yea... the webring is just another feature offering that people who want to make their forum part of a larger community can utilize at their own discretion.

Ya but !(one of those !)
I may be wrong (would'nt be a first!)but a web ring is a group of web sites sharing a common interest(?)ex:graphics, games or atomic warhead technologies (to name a few!) If a group of website had an interest into Snitz's Forum development, they could create a webring and compete with "Snitz.forum.com" Is'nt it like shooting oneself into the foot?
Just asking! I could be wrong!

wedont,
Do not all the people who have installed SNitz share a common interest?
Th ring also gives people a chance to see different types of forums taht are not all about the same thing, which in my opinion is better.
