I've browsed through the posts on this topic, but have yet to find any info on this:

The install doesn't go so smoothly and I had to manually make all the modifications per the text file posted with the original .zip file. Everything seems to work fine except for the fact that when I 'set acitve poll' the forum from the admin area, it doesn't show up on the default.asp page no matter what I do. It does show up when in the topic though. I even tried to use the default.asp that came in the .zip, and the issue doesn't seem to be in the code there.

Okay go in your admin home and go to feature configuration and turn on Show Featured Poll

Show Featured poll is turned "on" in the Feature Configuartion. Any other idea what might cause this?

I don't see any polls on your forum.

Also in your config.asp file you mis-spelled strActivePolls. This is what you have sstrActivePolls. You have 2 s's.

Sorry, my bad.. I have defaulted back to a saved version of the forum and I am going to take another running start at this implimentation. That is why you didn't see any active polls on my page. Is there any way you can give me a heads up as to what determines (i.e. variables) if a poll will be 'active' on the default.asp page?

It will only show up on the default.asp page if you have created a poll, set a poll to be the active poll, then turn the "Show Featured Poll" option "On".
