I encounter that duplication in all the messages(not just in polls).
here is a more detailed screenshot:
You see the border-colored test duplicate text whcih is the uplication of the first post. It is all the same on other posts(I mean, only the first message of the new topic duplicates)

Great!! With that picture I can know where to look in the code that might be causing that. I sent you an email with the fixed topic.asp file. Took it from your topic.txt file you posted in the other post.

The file you have sent to me has solved the problem. Now the mod works wery well.
Thank you(once again) for your kind help in implementing this GREAT MOD.

I realized now that in forum.asp, it doesn't show add poll link. can that be because of Huwr's Post Restrcition and Forum Hiding Mod?

Well, I'm not sure about HuwR's posting restrictions, but what you could do is check that you have the "Allow Member Polls" option in your "Admin Options", "Feature Configurations", set to "On".

I am sure it is "on", because on the top of topic.asp file it shows next to new topic, while on the forum.asp file, it doesn't.

Ok, well I guess there is a problem with the forum.asp file then. It should show up. You can post the .txt version of your forum.asp file or email it to me.

Ok, I see the problem.
1. You have an extra copy of the sub PostNewTopic(). I believe the posting restrictions mod uses it's own copy of the sub and you just copied it into your file, instead of replacing it.
2. The posting restrictions mod clashes with the poll mod.
What I can do for you is, I can delete or comment out the first PostNewTopic() sub. That one you're not using. And I can include the poll mod into the second sub, which is used by the posting restrictions mod.
Let me know what you want me to do.

Davio - It's about the dublication problem. But as a coincident I try to find the latest Poll mods. I need some poll function, but I'm not sure if I schould have that in the Forums or outsides, i.e in the front page. I really am waiting for a portal built on Snitz Forum! That's a goodie for me and my aim with my forums.

Tomas, what do you want me to do with your file?
Blackinwhite had the duplication problem because while he was entering the Poll Mod code, he didn't didn't enter it correctly, and I fixed it for him. But you haven't entered the Poll Mod code into your file. Your topic.asp file looks like the original to me.
If you have a problem with installing the Poll Mod, I will help you. But you at least need to try and install it before asking for help with it.
