Hi,
I have used the events 2 sr 1 mod on my Forums, and using a modified events_inc.asp have included it on my default.asp page. Richard very kindly helped me to do the same with his Announcements mod, and I was wanting to get the Events one looking as similar as possible to the Announcements one, as well as to get both so that they can be hidden or collapsed (via the 'plus' or 'minus' images), just like all Categories on my Forums.
With the events part, I wanted it like the Announce part in that the events icon is included, and also (if possible) instead of having to leave the default.asp page when clicking on an event, a popup window opens, on which only the event you clicked on is displayed, with maybe the option to display all events (just like the announcements one).
I have no idea how I could implement this, even after spending time studying the code, so if anyone can help, you can see what I mean by going to http://www.hisgrace.org/forum/
Many thanks in advance!

hi martha2mary,
what you're asking for while require add-ons to the events mod. I guess I can provide an alternative events_inc.asp file for people using collapsable categories mod with the + and -.

This is a good suggestion. I'll see what I can do when I get a chance.

Thanks, Aznknight! I'm a bit of a softy for giving my Forum Members the choice as to what they do or don't see , but I also like them to be easily notified of announcements or events, hence my requests. Would greatly appreciate your help to implement these things when you have the time. Thanks again.......

Hi martha2mary,
I took this feature request for event popup and implemented it for the events mod. I liked the idea a lot.
I'm gonna undate the event mod v2 sr 1 zip soon. I'll post about it in the original event 2 sr1 topic in w/ code forum topic.
