Hi Folks.
My photo_album_upload.asp page has worked fine for the last 10 or more years.
But it recently stopped uploading files, giving the following error:
Error! File was wrong type. Allowed types: Gif Jpeg Tiff Png Bmp.
I've tried upload numerous different files, of different sizes and extensions but they all keep getting the same error.
I've made no changes since about 4 months ago. That was when I compacted the Access database.
This error gives me the impression that something may have changed on the server? The site is on a shared host at Arvixe.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Kerry

Hi Kerry,
Say no more about the host. I have a couple of sites left with them for a little while after last months issues which one has the Photo Album:

I never noticed an issue with it until you said something, so I might look in to it as it is host specific and get back to you shortly.

Sorry Kerry,
I have not had a chance to look at it, but I would say going off the article that HuwR states in the topic, then that is the issue, might get a chance next week to confirm and if it is then I might see if there is a way around the current situation and if not, then I know Arvixe will not change the server to fix it (takes them 4 days to look at a server when it goes down and that is their emergency support) . |
