Dear folks,
Please don't shoot the messenger, but I'm looking to be pointed to ANY direction and if it's not here just tell me where to go (more or less :>).
I've been running my Snitz forums for going on a decade now, with absolutely zero issues, on the same host (HostMySite is the current name -- it's been through iterations). Yesterday both of my forums suddenly acted as if they didn't know the date -- if you posted that post disappeared (sort of -- you could find it if you did some careful searching, but nothing by date). And listing the topics in the forum by date was completely screwy, not showing anything in the last couple of years.
I assumed it was a problem with my host -- but they say not (although they are still looking at it). When I go into Admin options it does show the current date as correct (the server date/time configuration). But posts are definitely not found by that date (trying to use my Active Topics option, for example, is a disaster as it tries to sort through the entire database).
Any ideas would be appreciated -- I'm far from a forum expert and server software is not my thing but I just want to know what to even try or look at. TIA for any words, kind or otherwise. |
