Hi

My site uses a fairly active forum, but is currently using Infopop's UBB board. Its great, but the rest of the site uses ASP, and this makes it hard ot have any decent intergration between the contant and forum sides of the site.

Considering that Snitz looks a lot like UBB in several aspect, is there a way to convert or move memberships from UBB to Snitz? We want to change boards, but I don't want to risk losing our entire membership base. Ideally, to keep the old topics would also be great, but this isn't important.

Also, will Snitz also come out in a PHP format in the future?

Just as UBB is a Perl based forum, Snitz is an ASP based forum. There are a few PHP forums available if that is what you are looking for, see here: http://forum.snitz.com/competition.asp.

As far as converting your UBB to Snitz.

You can check here:

and you can also do a search for UBB convert from the search link at the top right of this page. There have been a few users who have done what you want to do. You might get in contact with one of them and see if they can help you out. Since to use UBB requires a paid license, we don't have a copy to develop a conversion script ourselves and test it out.
