Could someone explain the difference in deleting a member's account and zapping a member?
Do both of these leave traces of the member i.e. uploaded graphics and/or posts of theirs?

Member zapping erases all data on the member including the password and email, but not the member name, it can not connect or use a nickname to open another account.
Remove a member, it no longer exists in the database, even when careful with these two commands is Irreversible |

I wanted to add that there is no evidence for these two functions deleting a member and more radical than the zap, everything is deleted, the database. |

Do either of these functions leave the member's posts?
Their uploaded graphics?

Deletion does. Zapping does not. |

And after deleting a member, the n/a and the little graphic icon, icon_profile_locked.gif, remains in the list of members as long as that member has posts?

Hello,
Here is the place where you can remove the n / a by choosing from the list of member and tick the answers and remove member. The text on my picture is in French, but you'll also find it in your English.
