I didn't realize a member could delete a reply after other members had replied. I thought all a member could do after others had replied would be to "edit" a reply of his/hers.

Is there a mod that will prevent a member from being able to delete his/her reply after others have replied?

I seem to recall a MOD that would lock a post after a given time, but the name escapes me. And I want to say that it prevented editing as well after the allotted time.

Yes, your memory hasn't completely failed you. It's here.

I wouldn't say failing... just in need of a serious defrag.

But it states, "This mod allows the author of a topic/reply a specified length of time (a grace period) in which to edit the post before the "Edited by: ..." message is appended. Thus, someone who makes a typographical error can fix the mistake and keep the forum looking clean."

It doesn't state that members will not be able to completely delete their posts. Should I have assumed it does mean that as well?

Does this mod also allow admins to always have the ability to edit members' post regardless of the time frame?
