Is there a way to prevent the "Post a Reply" box area from displaying below a blog entry (see graphic below)? If it's not there members would click on the "Reply to Topic" link and then they would have all of the formatting options, emoticons, etc.

Well, there's a problem with this as well. I am just now setting this up on a new server and when I reply to a blog (under a different account so it's not like I'm replying to my own blog), it displays it just as it displays a reply to a topic on a forum.

I have it saved as Oxle v2 but I'm not sure that's the official name, Marcel. I'm fairly sure this is where I found it though.

I realize that's your site, Marcel, and that's probably the reason for the name I saved it as rather than simply "Weblogs." How could I know for sure which version it is? I've looked at your installation notes and all I see is "MarcelG’s Weblogs" as the name for the mod.

Or, if I do have the older version where could I find the newer version?

I stopped development on it a while ago, and I haven't released a new version.
In fact, weblogs are disabled for a while already on oxle.com.

For reference, my source code:
http://oxle.com/source.asp?page=logfeed.asp&lines=yes

Is your "logfeed.asp" file the same as the "log.asp" file in this Weblogs Mod, Marcel?

I think it is, however it's a further developed version of it.
The things you need to look at are the redirect that comes after the postpage. I think it's post_info.asp in your files, but makepost.asp in my code.

In inc_func_common.asp) the QuickReply function includes the referrer as a post field.
			" <input name=""Refer"" type=""hidden"" value=""" & request.servervariables("SCRIPT_NAME") & "?" & replace(Request.QueryString,"#","#") & """>" & vbNewLine

Then in makepost (or post_info.asp in stock Snitz), this field is used to direct the page back.
				" <meta http-equiv=""Refresh"" content=""1; URL=" & chkString(Request.Form("refer"),"refer") & """>" & vbNewLine & _

Simple as that.

Great! I'll try this.

Thank you so much, Marcel!

I am going to have to come back to this, Marcel. It's just not sinking in right now.
