What's the feeling on having avatars? I run a mostly adult age forum and avatars seem cool but I'm not sure I won't to go through the time and effort to do the install if it really doesn't add that much to my forum. Appreciate any thoughts.

Some love them, some ignore them. There's no real down-side, since those who ignore them don't really seem to resent them.
