I did the add-on for the "Events Calendar" mod that allows you to select the recurring dates like Mother's Day, etc. and now I am receiving an "Internal Server Error 500" error message. Could doing this add-on cause the error?

Well, I can only assume that the add-on caused the "Internal Server Error 500" error message because it would never allow me to submit an event with a recurring date. The page would freeze and then I'd receive the error message.
Any ideas from anyone?

It would be helpful to have a more specific error than the generic 500 message.
Do you still have detailed error messages enabled in the browser? And can you make sure the server is sending detailed error messages? (I seem to recall discussing some issues with this in a previous thread re: the FileSystem object...) |

Sorry! Here's the detailed error message below.
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'
Script timed out
/tfp/post_info.asp
The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

Yep, same lousy host. Can adjust the timeout on each page; however, the host could fix the timeout value on the entire site. But it shouldn't have timed out; there must be an error on the page or possibly in the database. I still haven't gotten around to installing and testing that. |
