I am nearing the home front and in the process now of checking out everything with only one or two small mods to add.  I know you guys are going to be Soooo glad to see me finish!  I had to start over a couple of months ago to get rid of the bulky MS SQL database and switch to MySQL and, like I said, I am almost finished!
I had tested the Private Messages from the beginning and they worked fine and still do. However; none of the buttons work, i.e. the format buttons won't work and the smiley emoticons won't insert when clicked on.
I simply forgot to check those when testing after doing the PM mod.
When I had a simular problem in the area where you create a post or reply to a post, it was caused by a javascript error in that the link was pointing to the wrong location.
a copy of my privatesend.asp in txt format

I just rechecked all of the buttons and smiley emoticons when trying to create and/or reply to a PM. All of them still don't work. . .but, the HK (Hot Key) button does. Does that give someone any ideas?

| The only possibility I see is the path to the javascript files in lines 129-130. If you moved those two files into a sub-folder, you'll have to modify the lines to point to the correct location. |

Which javascript files are you referring to, Carefreee? The only files in my javascript sub-folder are jwplayer.js, SnitzRSS.js, ytplaylist.js.

Carefree had referred to javascript files and sent you an email. Do you have those files in javascript directory?
You need to correct the path to those files. Remove the link to text file from your post. |
