Well, I wish you had said that a few posts ago! LOLOL

Okay; I changed just those lines.

I am back to my original error on line 1915:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e37'

[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.45-community-nt]Table 'tfpmembers.forum_recipe' doesn't exist

You need to run the dbs file. Have you done it?

Yes; I did that before anything else the day I installed it.

Will it just cause more problems if I run it again?

You can run it again and do not worry about any error messages.

Did you change the dbs to use the backticks on the show column?

No; if that was mentioned, I failed to see it.

How do I accomplish that?

I think it will fail, because of the show column. I am not sure if the dbs code can deal with the backticks. Probably your best bet is to download the new version of the mod posted by Carefree, run the dbs in there and just replace all the mod's files by those from Carefree's latest version.

Thank you for your help. I have got to go out for a while so I will have to try this later.

OK, through with this as far as I can tell.

Changes have been made to the file on SnitzBitz.

Instructions are contained in the "readme_recipe_book.htm" file. The package has been modified to:
  • Add an admin alert when recipes are pending approval (to both "inc_header.asp" and "recipe.asp").
  • Correct the MySQL restricted word (SHOW).
  • Change the cursor type from static to dynamic to allow for MySQL restrictions.

Warning: If you are already using a previous version, installing the .dbs file from this package WILL DELETE all previous recipes. Instead of running the .dbs file, rename the column "SHOW" in the database "Recipe" table to say "RECIPE_SHOW".

Carefree, I ran the new database file without any problems! I then used all of your new files and everything worked PERFECT! No problems whatsoever!

I was Soooo excited when I saw your changes included an alert for new recipes pending approval! I am always forgetting to check for new recipes so this is a HUGE plus for me!

The "Procedure" field/row displays only inside the actual recipe with this one and that will cut down on my work tremendously!

The "Contributor" field/row is displaying the member who posted the recipe now instead of the member who is currently viewing the recipe. That was extremely confusing for my members.

Since my members loved the original "Recipe Book Mod" so much, they are going to be ecstatic over this version!

Excellent job!! I Soooo appreciate this!!

Glad to be of assistance. It's a good mod, just needed some tweaking.
