getting the following error, trying to open the active users page:

quote:
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03ee'

Expected ')'

/forum/active_users.asp, line 347
ElseIf (instr(ua, "MSIE 8") Then
----------------------------^

any idea what needs to get fixed?

never mind. the bracket in front of the "instr" had to go. so there is an error in the file i downloaded from snitzbits.

rather than remove the bracket in front of instr, you should add a bracket at the end s it is like

ElseIf (instr(ua, "MSIE 8")) Then

It is conventional to place the if condition in brackets.

thanks for your suggestion, all the other lines did not have the bracket in front of instr, so i removed it to match the other lines. the file was included in the active user download and the file in question was obviously the active_users.asp file which did not work and caused the error.

i just noticed something strange though. i changed the color for mods from green to blue and some other settings. after a while everything went back to the default settings...?
