I have just installed windows 7 Home Premium on my pc

My forum uses MS SQL database and I need to download the data.

With XP and Vista this was easy. Not with windows 7

I have installed DTSWizard and SQL Server Management Studio Express (2005) but I have "No Server Connection" on my pc. What do I do next?

I would say make sure the Windows Firewall is not blocking it.

The problem is that I can't even create a database on my pc because it won't act as a server. How do I turn on the server in Win 7?

Likely the server is running, you just can't communicate with it because of the windows firewall.

On windows XP there was a server icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, there isn't a server icon on my windows 7 machine.

I turned off windows firewall but that makes no difference.

Also when I go into the import and export wizard there is no server name to select, it is blank.

There is no server icon on Windows 7, as there was none on Vista. You need to check running services, using Administrative Tools, to make sure the services for SQL Server are running.

I've fixed the problem.

I had to uninstall SQL Server Management Studio and re install it.

This link helped.
