A member of the board could not log in. I deleted the user and have attempted to register his user name, password and email address to allow him to login again. However I continue to receive the following message. I have double checked and his member information has been deleted. Why am I receiving this error message? Thank you.
"There Was A Problem With Your Details
E-mail Address already in use, Please Choose Another"

Leatherlips, I appreciate your response. I went to a different computer in my office and attempted to set the account up from there. (no cache). I received the same message.
I have also checked the email list and the email address is not included in the list. |

Maybe he has a pending registration, so the email may be in the MEMBERS_PENDING table. You may also want to check the M_NEWEMAIL field in the members table, as it may exist from his past membership. If he had posts, not all his details would have been deleted, so you better check these places I have just told you about.
Alternatively, you may disable the requirement for unique emails while you register him, and then turn it on again. |
