I have reached such a level of frustration that I could scream! But I won't annoy you with that. I am hoping there is SOMEONE here who can tell me what is going on with my snitz forum. I just had it installed on my website. It looked like it was up and running. I was testing it out, and trying to make a few administrative changes. I tried to log out, it said Log Out was Successful, but every time I went back to the first page, I was still logged in. I went through this 15 times and never got logged out. I rebooted... got back in, tried to log on, it said I was logged on successfully, but when I go back to the main page to do a test post, I'm not logged in. No matter what I do I can't log in. Was this a faulty installation, or what? And if it was, then how come I could log in the first few times, and other people I sent there to test it out didn't have a problem at all?

*ready to scream in Wisconsin*

If anyone has the time or the energy to help me figure any of this out, could you please let me know or email me at hosta@mwt.net. Don't click on the email addy that shows up with my registration because I think I put the wrong one there.

Try clearing the cookies from your computer, if you did admin changes and changed from 'DB Authentication' to 'Website' - that may be the problem.

I can't be sure if this is right, but I had the same problems and I went to admin options, main forum configuration and set cookies to website instead of forum...

I don't know if thats how I was supposed to do it because I'm new to this forum stuff, but it worked...

If I'm wrong then someone here will correct me...

I wouldnt take my advice until you found out if I was right or wrong...
