I`m having trouble when I set Poll Permissions. Polls are set to 'on' in the Admin Poll Configuration Page.

For each forum, I click on Allow All Members to create polls but the changes aren`t being saved or updated and I`m not getting any error. When I go back to edit permissions again, the drop-down box is at the default `Don`t Allow Polls`. Do you know what could be wrong?

Did you add all the poll mod code to your config.asp file and updated it on the server?

There is 2 possible ways I know that might not update the values.

1. The code in the config.asp file wasn't updated with the poll mod code.
2. The code in the post.asp file wasn't updated with the poll mod code.

So check your post.asp file as well to make sure you got all the changes made.
If you can't find anything wrong, post a link to a txt version of the file so i can take a look at it.

Davio,

I've double checked the config.asp and post.asp files but I think I need fresh eyes to spot my error.
Here are the files:

First thing first, remove your database user name and password from the config.txt file.
After you do that, I suggest you change your password as now you have given it out in a public forum.

I'll look over the files in the morning. Eyes tired now.

Thanks--I've removed the suggested material.
Any thoughts on where I went wrong?
