I had a new member make a reply in an existing thread. Then there were several replies after his thread. This morning his post is gone as if it were never there. How could this happen?
I thought once a reply was made to a post then it could not be deleted except by the admin (me).
As I understand it, the original post cannot be deleted once a reply has been posted but I'm sure replies can be. There is a mod to stop this happening
Very strange. Have you tested to see if you can reproduce it leatherlips? Maybe a mod you added allowed topics to be deleted even after replies are made?
The topic wasn't deleted, only one of the middle replies were removed. I'm not aware of a mod I installed that would have caused this. Is this how Snitz is supposed to work? If so, then I may be interested in the mod mentioned by Mr Pink.
Oh, I thought you were talking about the very first post in the topic (the the first reply). As far as I know, members are able to delete their replies.
